There are different types of body and of course a different workout plans for each types. This could be the one of the main reason why people need a customizable workout plan because they have different body types. There are three types of body types infact six but we will talk about three and that is ectomorph, mesomorph and endomorph. Each type has their own characteristics and workout functions. It totally depends on your body type in which you fall apart and how well you train it and plan out a good diet.

1. Ectomorph Body Type

Typical aspects :
  • Tall and thin
  • Delicate frame
  • Faces difficulty to gain muscles and weight

How to train :

Anyone out there have the ectomorph body type than it's very difficult for them to gain muscles and fat to their body. If ectomorph wants to gain some muscles than they should focus on compound exercises as opposed to isolated movements. By performing compound exercise you will use more muscles group in the one exercise.

If you want to try some exercise than you can opt for bench press workout take it as an example because in this exercise the muscles in the chest, shoulder and triceps are working together at a time through the movement of shoulder and elbows. Other than that biceps curl is a great example of isolated movements because it only uses the biceps. 

While performing compound movements you shouldn't always dependent on it instead you can finish your exercise with an isolated movement as an accessories. For ectomorphs you should always focus on performing big compound movements.

Nutrition :

Ectomorphians should always try to intake more carbs as much as they can. Because of high metabolism this body types fastly burns whatever they intake due to which they always feel hungry. As I said as much intake of carbs it doesn't mean that you make your stomach a trash can. 

Complex carbs is the best source for ectomorphians to feel fuller for longer. This will help to push some proteins to their muscles to help them to grow. Complex carbs foods include oats, brown bread, brown rice.

2. Mesomorph Body Type

  • Average and Middle of the body type
  • Lean and muscular simultaneously
  • Well defined muscles like an athlete

How to train :

Mesomorph body type is in between ectomorph and endomorph. It is very easy for mesomorphs to build muscles and lose fat than ectomorph and endomorph respectively.

That's why it is said that the mesomorphians do not have to insanely rely on the heavy weights to get results. They can lift an average weights and still gets the result. Mesomorphs should always focus on their workout plan accurately even if they lift moderately they can still progress.

While mesomorphs can easily lose their fat it totally doesn't mean that they are completely immune. However, it is best that they can opt for some aerobic exercises as well. With the help of aerobic exercises your heart rate improves and also your blood pumps.

Nutrition :

Mesomorph body type's nutrition should contain equal amount of protein and fat, with a moderate amount of carbs. Like an ectomorph you can also try complex carbs it will keep you full and gives your body energy in a sustainable way.

3. Endomorph Body Type

Typical aspects:

  • Fatty build
  • Huge body
  • In the lower half of their body they stores fuel in both muscles and fats.
  • Has more fats but also comes with more muscles.
  • They have the best strength out of the the three body types but sometimes they may find difficult to stay lean.
  • Very slow metabolism

How To Train

Endomorphs should always focus on intense workout if they want to lose their fats from body. It is highly advisable to them that they should focus on interval training such as HIIT (high-intensity interval training) over LISS ( low-intensity steady state cardio). 

Endomorphians should always train their overall body and see if they are getting any results and they should focus on only one body area.

For enhancing the metabolism endomorphs should include both hypertrophy and conditioning. They should opt for heavy weight with fewer reps. By doing this your metabolism will boost up even after hours of training is done.

Nutrition

Endomorphians need to have a very stricter diet plan than the others. They should avoid having a heavy carbs food unlike ectomorph and should intake a high protein foods. They should include complex carbs and avoid simple carbs like white bread, raw sugar and brown sugar.
